A Track Compliant with Standards, from Substructure to Surface

A track's performance begins with the substructure. We prepare the drained asphalt or concrete base at the correct levels and apply the elastic polyurethane (tartan) coating layer by layer over it.

We make the lane lines and the start and finish markings in a standards-compliant, sharp and permanent manner. If requested, we also include starting blocks and infield athletics areas in the project.

Before starting the project, we carry out a free site visit; we recommend the most suitable coating type and lane layout based on the area, intended use and budget, and provide an itemized, clear quote.

Depending on the need and area, it is usually designed with 4–8 lanes; 4–6 lanes are common on school grounds and 6–8 lanes in stadiums.

Which surfacing is used?+

For athlete health and performance, we use an elastic polyurethane (tartan) coating; the thickness is set between 13–15 mm depending on usage intensity.

Can the track be used in all weather?+

Yes. Thanks to the drained foundation and waterproof coating, it can be used shortly after rainfall.

How many years does the track last?+

A quality polyurethane (tartan) coating retains its performance for 8 years and beyond with proper maintenance; its lifespan can be extended by renewing the top layer.

Can an athletics area also be built inside the pitch?+

Yes. We can also include in-field athletics areas such as long jump, shot put, and javelin in the track project.

Can you resurface the existing track?+

If the substructure is sound, we can renew the track by applying a new layer over the old coating or by removing and replacing it.
